The logo belongs to Okamoto, Japan's largest condom manufacturer, who sponsored circuit racing throughout the golden era of Japanese motorsport. The cheeky "Safety Drive" tagline was a knowing double-meaning aimed at a young, car-obsessed audience — and it ended up on nearly every Japanese race car of the period, from hakosuka Skyline GT-Rs to Mazda's rotary-powered Savanna RX-3.
