The UV Works Difference
Not all printing is created equal. Here's why UV printing produces a better product — and why it matters for what you're putting your name on.
Ink that's built to last
Standard printing sprays ink onto a surface and lets it dry. UV printing is different — the ink is cured instantly using ultraviolet light, bonding directly to the surface. The result is a print that's harder, sharper, and more resistant to everything life throws at it.
Eight reasons to choose UV
Whether it's a sticker on your car or a printed art panel on your wall, the difference is something you can see and feel.
UV-cured ink doesn't wash off or bleed when it gets wet. Your print stays sharp in rain, humidity, or anywhere near water — no babying required.
Standard prints fade over time when exposed to sunlight. UV prints hold their colour for significantly longer, making them ideal for outdoor use or sun-exposed surfaces.
UV printing produces vivid, saturated colours that pop straight off the surface. What you see in your design is much closer to what you get in the final print.
Because the ink cures instantly, there's no spreading or bleeding into the surface. Fine lines, small text, and intricate patterns all come out crisp and clean.
The cured ink forms a hard surface that holds up to everyday wear and tear — handling, rubbing, stacking — without chipping or scratching off easily.
UV printing isn't limited to paper or vinyl. We can print directly onto wood, metal, acrylic, plastic, and more — opening up a whole world of custom product possibilities.
UV printing can apply a clear varnish layer directly on top of the ink. The result is a rich gloss finish that makes colours look deeper and more intense — like the print is lit from within.
Unlike standard printing which lays ink flat on a surface, UV printing can layer ink to create a subtle raised texture. The effect gives prints a real sense of depth — designs that don't just look good, they feel it too.
Gloss, depth & texture.
Two of UV printing's most striking capabilities — a gloss varnish finish that makes colours pop, and layered ink that gives prints a genuine 3D quality you can actually feel.
