How To Apply

UV stickers aren't your standard vinyl, paper or plastic. Some of our designs have raised gloss varnish elements that sit slightly above the base layer, which means the usual card-and-squeegee technique can trap air or crush the finish. The videos on this page will walk you through the application and removal of the different types of UV Works stickers. Check your sticker description to verify which type you have, then view the matching guide below to learn the trick behind a perfect application.

Clean the surface
Soap and water first, then wipe down with isopropyl alcohol using a lint-free cloth. Let it dry fully.
Work in the right temperature
Around 15–25°C is ideal. Cold surfaces make adhesive stiff, hot surfaces are too tacky to reposition.
Use your fingers or a card
Depending on the sticker type, a card isn't always best. Check the multi level instructions first before applying.
Take your time
Rushing is how bubbles happen. Slow, deliberate pressure from the centre outwards gives the best result every time.

Our standard matte flat finish is one of the easiest to apply. Peel, position, and apply from one end to the other with a scraper applicator or a card.

Gloss flat stickers are the thickest in our range, making them the easiest sticker to apply. Peel, position, and apply from one end to the other with a scraper applicator or a card.

Multi level stickers have raised gloss varnish elements printed on top of the base matte layer — that's why they look 3D. These need a gentler touch than a flat sticker. Massage the sticker down slowly with your fingertips, working from one end to the other, paying extra attention around the flat areas so no air gets trapped underneath.

Whether you're relocating a sticker or switching to a new design, there are two ways to take one off cleanly — alcohol and a scraper, or a heat gun.
