Recommended sticker placements on a Jimny JB74
Hi everyone, it’s OuWen, co-founder of UV Works and that's JIMNII my JB74 in the photos. From the very start I wanted to create stickers for my Jimny so of course my own creations landed on JIMNII. I’ve talked to people on where are cool spots to put stickers and keep spotting others put stickers in creative places that really add a design element and not just the fun element. Here's exactly where I put mine and areas that I think is special. Steal whichever ones you like.
Start With These
Let’s start with the three most common areas. They're the ones everyone sees — on the road, at a meet, in every photo of your car.
Spare Tyre Cover
This is the one. If you do nothing else, do this. It's the first thing anyone behind you sees, and at a meet it's basically your number plate — everyone clocks it. I've got a spare wheel delete cover on mine so it has a large flat surface area. One sticker, centred, done. I have seen many Jimny owners do full sticker bombing that looks
great also.
Rear Window
Big flat piece of glass, so your options are endless. I’ve got all sorts here down the middle with my Instagram and brands modified, as well as my Jimny Life and café racer decals up on the corners. Glass is also way more forgiving than paint — if I ever change my mind, it peels and wipes clean easily.
My pick: 200–300mm wide
Rear Side Windows
I say the back side windows of the Jimny serve no other purpose than to mount a jerry can or sticker bomb your adventures.
The Detail Spots
These are the ones people only notice up close — the bits that make a build feel like yours. None of them are loud, and that's the point.
Side of the Bonnet
Most people centre their bonnet sticker. I don't — I run mine off to one side, near the edge. It's a cleaner look to me, it doesn't fight the lines of the bonnet, and it still reads great when you've got a row of Jimnys parked up side by side.
My pick: 100–150mm
Front Windscreen
A small one tucked into the corner of the windscreen is an easy win — visible from outside and from the driver's seat. Keep it small and right in the corner so you're not blocking your line of sight.

Front Trim
Getting a bit creative now with the trim in the front. Between the bonnet and the
black plastic grille. This is an underrated spot for small stickers. A small contrast
sticker will really grab attention or a more subtle approach with a colour matched
sticker.
Under the Door Handle
One of my favourite sneaky spot. Tuck a small sticker just under the door handle and it becomes a little detail that rewards anyone who looks twice. It breaks up the flat of
the door and doubles down as paint protection if you wear rings.
💡 My one tip: before you commit, hold our UV Works sticker against the area you intend to stick on. Because UV Works stickers have a clear backing, you get a preview of what it will look like once applied.
